These services are monitored and managed by in-house PerfectLaw personnel. In the event our offices become inaccessible, we are prepared to remotely support our firms and manage our cloud infrastructure without interruptions.

We know working away from the office can be difficult if you aren’t properly equipped with strong tools. That’s why PerfectLaw has a whole suite of mobile products designed to empower the attorneys on the go. Whether you’re looking to keep time, access documents, make check and expense requests, or even access your docket, PerfectLaw’s mobile products achieve the need to bring your practice wherever you may be.
Our mobile products are anchored by iSlips. Available for both iOS and Android, iSlips users have the ability to enter time or expense entries and then sync them to PerfectLaw back at the office. And if you have a receipt in front of you that you’d like to submit with your entry, you can just snap a picture of it with your phone and attach it to your submission.
Another mobile mainstay product is iDocuments, which gives you access to your document management system from your iOS or Android mobile device. With iDocuments, you’re able to open, view, and even edit documents (assuming you have whatever third party application that’s required).
Finally, our PLSync product will allow you to access AIM contacts and events (appointments and tasks) from your mobile device. With two-way, real-time synchronization to Microsoft® Exchange, events that are entered in AIM will show up on your mobile device; and events entered in your mobile device will appear in AIM
PerfectLaw offers various forms of training and continuing education for its firms and users. With its Virtual Training program, firms get a chance to beef up their PerfectLaw skills and make sure their newest users are trained to maximize PerfectLaw’s capabilities. Our video-based training library may be securely accessed from the office or while at home and offers a broad foundation for users to review topics with our certified training professionals.

PerfectLaw’s iDocuments mobile app is the simplest way to view documents when you’re away from the office. Available for both iOS and Android, iDocuments allows users to access documents within the PerfectLaw DMS from anywhere with an Internet connection. And to prevent you from having to search through all of your firm’s documents, the app features a “Recent” list that puts everything you’ve recently been working with at the forefront.
However, sometimes you need to access a document that isn’t in your “Recent” list. On these occasions, you’ll want to utilize the “More” search. Clicking “More” will allow you to search for (and download) any document in your database, assuming that you have the security permissions. Then, you can download it and work with it online or offline.

In recent years, the legal industry has experienced a quantum leap in legal technology options and legal software solutions. Although a lot of marketing buzz has been created around the recently developed Hybrid Cloud, there are still numerous reasons why PerfectLaw’s All-In-One cloud model rises about the rest. The Hybrid Cloud, although offering a diverse set of options, is often partitioned or broken apart across several different databases, thus requiring add-ons or plug-ins to integrate with third party software . This is not ideal.
In the All-In-One cloud, everything lives in harmony alongside your All-In-One database. This increases security, usability, maintenance, workflow, along a great deal of other perks.

PerfectLaw is pleased to announce the release of iSlips 2.0 for Android devices. In this update, the Search has been reworked to make selecting matters quicker and easier; time entry has been updated to utilize the keypad layout; and the user interface has been updated to resemble the look and feel of the iOS app, providing a uniform presence amongst all versions of the app.

PerfectLaw is excited to announce a new module for the iOS version of iSlips. With iSlips Expense, users will be able to quickly enter expense entries from anywhere with a wireless connection. Similar to iSlips Time Entry, users simply select the client matter from the one-touch search, enter the expense code and cost, and take a picture of the receipt.
Since your app is synced to PerfectLaw, all of your entered expenses and receipt images are automatically sent back to your office for your Office Assistant or Back Office personnel to review and post to billing.

iSlips 2.0 is the latest release of PerfectLaw’s popular, mobile, time-keeping app. With this latest version, users will now have the ability to look up client and matter information from a single field. Known as “PerfectLaw Quick Search,” users may enter text or numerical characters and quickly pare down the list to the desired client or matter. PerfectLaw’s new enhancement enables Paperless Workflow users to route an imaged document to a specific matter-level folder straight from the cover sheet’s profiling screen. A “Folder Path” field has been added for you to specify the folder’s location, as seen in the image above.

AIM365 Time Entry is a browser-based application which allows users to enter time from anywhere with Internet access. From an incredibly intuitive design, users may add, edit, and delete time entries with only a few clicks of the mouse.
PerfectLaw has begun a series of free workshops tailored to special interest groups, with topics that are highly relevant to today’s competitive law firm environment. We began the series in April, with a workshop titled CloudWorkshop: More for Less in the Cloud, which had a wonderful turnout. Keeping time on the go has never been easier. With PerfectLaw’s iSlips app, users can enter time into PerfectLaw from anywhere with an internet connection using their iOS or Android smart phones or tablets.
This intuitive app allows user to search and use matters from their recent matters list in AIM; or, they can drill down to locate older matters. After you’re done entering your time, you simply press the sync button. This will sync your time entries to PerfectLaw’s All-In-One database for processing by your firm’s back office.

PerfectLaw is excited to announce the official release of AIM version 17. Besides tweaks to improve the general functioning of the software, there are also plenty of new features to make life easier for your firm. To see more, please watch our brief video.
To see your firm’s version of AIM, go to the AIM navigational bar, choose “Help” from the menu, “About…”, and you’ll see the Version at the top of the screen which pops up.
It may be possible for your firm to upgrade from v7 or v15 to v17 through your firm’s maintenance. To find out, request an upgrade, or inquire about any potential fees, please send us an email.
