Our mobile products are anchored by iSlips. Available for both iOS and Android, iSlips users have the ability to enter time or expense entries and then sync them to PerfectLaw back at the office. And if you have a receipt in front of you that you’d like to submit with your entry, you can just snap a picture of it with your phone and attach it to your submission.
Another mobile mainstay product is iDocuments, which gives you access to your document management system from your iOS or Android mobile device. With iDocuments, you’re able to open, view, and even edit documents (assuming you have whatever third party application that’s required).
Finally, our PLSync product will allow you to access AIM contacts and events (appointments and tasks) from your mobile device. With two-way, real-time synchronization to Microsoft® Exchange, events that are entered in AIM will show up on your mobile device; and events entered in your mobile device will appear in AIM
PerfectLaw’s iDocuments mobile app is the simplest way to view documents when you’re away from the office. Available for both iOS and Android, iDocuments allows users to access documents within the PerfectLaw DMS from anywhere with an Internet connection. And to prevent you from having to search through all of your firm’s documents, the app features a “Recent” list that puts everything you’ve recently been working with at the forefront.
However, sometimes you need to access a document that isn’t in your “Recent” list. On these occasions, you’ll want to utilize the “More” search. Clicking “More” will allow you to search for (and download) any document in your database, assuming that you have the security permissions. Then, you can download it and work with it online or offline.
In recent years, the legal industry has experienced a quantum leap in legal technology options and legal software solutions. Many of the solutions have begun the move to the cloud from what was once only local server-based environments. Although a lot of marketing buzz has been created around the recently developed Hybrid Cloud, there are still numerous reasons why PerfectLaw’s All-In-One cloud model rises about the rest. The Hybrid Cloud, although offering a diverse set of options, is often partitioned or broken apart across several different databases, thus requiring add-ons or plug-ins to integrate with third party software . This is not ideal.

PerfectLaw is excited to announce the official release of AIM version 17. Besides tweaks to improve the general functioning of the software, there are also plenty of new features to make life easier for your firm. To see more, please watch our brief video.
To see your firm’s version of AIM, go to the AIM navigational bar, choose “Help” from the menu, “About…”, and you’ll see the Version at the top of the screen which pops up.
